i already have an 6800 gt AGP is there any other card out there with enough performance increase to justify an upgrade although i am stuck with agp at the mo

Hi, Yep it should be worth it as you will have more pipes and better bandwidth

the bandwidth is about 46 Gb/s at 450/625 and 51Gb/s at 500/700 (core/memory).
You can play doom 3 and quake 4 at ultra settings, using the 512 mb of video ram.
