Another PayPal question, sorry.

I might but that account pays all the bills, and if they bounce, my wife will kill me.

Theere should be £144 in the bank by Monday along with my current PP balance of £299.26 makes £443 Im short of £11... Please any loyal ocuk members check the MM I will sell some stuff there to make up the 11 via PP payment... oh LOL.

If I get the money in PP will it pay straight away? I take it its status uncleared at the mo cos the full amount isnt in Paypal?

And whats with paypal dodgy conversion of the us dollar?? everywhere else says $900 is £433, yet PP says its £450!!

Another question... let me explain.......

I went into Paypal and changed bank accounts, thinking if i sent payment it would straight away add the missing funds from my PP to the balance... but no! it says it will take another 9 days for it to clear now by echeque??

I cant wait this long... so adding funds to paypal would cancel any amounts coming out of the bank and go staright through??

Com on PP experts, jims in the brown stuff.

Probably because the rates you see online are (such as XE currency converter) are the 'market rate'. You don't get market rate, you typically get about 10pence per pound less than market rate (at present), when you actually exchange money. That's pretty much the same anywhere.

So does anyone know if I added the full amount into PP and my balance said £450 it would cancel the echeque and pay it straight off?

I cant be waiting another 9 days for bank clearance.

And I'd suggest that you keep the seller fully informed of what's happening. I've sold stuff on eBay and had emails from the buyer saying that it's going to take time for the payment to transfer.

I doubt the seller will be concerned providing you keep him updated.

Have you tried that?

It seems you were given advice which was to wait until Monday and then you full-on ignored it.

I panicked as simple as.

Feek, yes I have sent him an email telling him all about it.

Is there anyway I can cancel this echeque? all the money will hopefully be in the balance tomorrow. Then I can transfer it and he will recieve the full amount straight away.

There is a way of stopping an E-cheque. You need to contact your bank asking them to block the echeque / cancel the direct debit to PayPal.

If you use your bank's online service you may be able to cancel the direct debit yourself.

Ya cheers.
