another plane crashes in ocean

You can always look at it from a statistical perspective - the more that go down now, the less likely it is that you'll be on one yourself.

That's if I were really cold and heartless...

RIP - horrible news.

Sweet! I might be on an A320 or A319 this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Either those or the Boeing 767.

*crosses fingers*

And RIP to any fatalities of that crash.

A better way to look at it is that although 1 crashed, 100's of planes landed safely without any problems at all. Still, RIP to any that have died in the crash.

That's the thing about flying, I have flown every year since I was about 4 years old, a lot of the times more than once in a year yet it never gets any easier.
I hear some dodgy sounds and I'm instantly ****ing myself (although I try it hide it on the outside!), I hate flying over the ocean at night time, I hate turbulance, a sudden drop literally has me crying inside.

This is coming from a guy who's honeymoon consisted of New York, Miami, Caribbean Cruise and Philadelphia at the end of it last year! I don't let the fear stop me doing what I want to do but in the end when people tell me facts about it's the safest way to travel, these people who die will never actually think there is a chance they will die when getting on that plane, and they do, so it can happen to me or you :(

Anyway, I don't really know what I'm blabbing about.

RIP.
