Herve King, 27, who played for Ringmer FC, collapsed after just 17 minutes of play against Three Bridges on Saturday.
This is starting to happen more and more often.

Was going to say the same. I doubt this would've even got a mention if it wasn't for the higher profile players collapsing on the pitch.I wonder if it's really happening more often, or just that it's reported more than it used to be.
RIP
Can't believe how often football related deaths are happening recently![]()
Yeah, it is getting increasingly worrying, that so many footballers are dying like this.
Wonder if its football related, or just happened to happen to these footballers.
Is it actually happening more or is that we're hearing more of it?
RIP

Strange though, i personally think its football related, i have never heard of any young man (out of football) collapsing and dying, even more strange with people as healthy and fit as footballers.

a police officer ( i think) died on the pitch here at staffs uni recently. Wasn't much news here but my parents showed me the news paper report.
Seems to be happening a lot though?
