Another Player Dies on Pitch!

I think it's reported more now.

A friend of a friend died last year after suffering a heart attack after a Sundal league game. He was 24-25. :( That didn't hit the national news.

more than anything its nothing to do with fitness, even activity. some deaths sudden like these are from blood clots moving to the brain/lung/heart causing heart attacks or brain anureisms(really not a clue how to spell that, just a guess), it can happen mid playing football, sitting watching tv or asleep, people die like that most days. Congential heart problems can mean for some people a heart attack is simply waiting to happen, or damage to heart tissue from previous infection, drug use. clots from minor bruises can break off and travel around, sometimes causing no issue and breaking up, sometimes causing a death. completely random in all honestly, tragic and generally unavoidable. Quite a lot of people are born with or develope a anureism(again on clue on spelling) at a young age, some of those people die of natural causes, some they pop at a completely random time, you can never tell.

Its not happening more often, its certainly a case of internet meaning you hear about it a lot more. For instance, the police man who died from a blood clot off a bruise, he could have been sitting at home and same thing happened and it would get counted as a different kind of death. I guess its possible more people are playing football than ever before, so the chance of random deaths occuring during a game have gone up ever so slightly, but it will be a tiny number.

Why these kinds of deaths are reported are, guy dying in his sleep of a pre-existing condition seems almost natural, guy dying in the middle of playing football at peak of his health seems completely unnatural and the idea of a healthy guy dying seems strange.
