Actually have a road trip planned for this summer on the continent and a possibly a trip to Portugal and Spain.

nowhere I live in cornwall! Don't worry about us getting no money. It all seems to be wasted on pointless "improvements" anyway. Newquay is currently having 1.2m spent squashing the road over to have a cycle lane on one side that is not continuous plus people park over it anyway.

Traffic islands put where people park outside there house and consequently block traffic and end up getting ripped up. Truro had a bus lane put in 30K and is now being removed and countless other things happening right now.

Yeah its not like anyone could see that bus lane only making congestion worse not better........

Would love to know which expert told them it would work.

Cost 30K to put it going to cost 100k to remove.
