would the enermax liberty 500w modular psu be better then an ultra x connect 500w psu as it has dual rails and is atx v2.2 compared to running the iltra x with 20-24pin adaptor?

any other reasons for one over the other ?

I'd say the Enermax would be the better PSU but not for having dual rails or ATX 2.2 compliance, it is just because I think it is a more solid and stable PSU overall. If you currently have the X-Connect and it works fine I wouldn't go changing just for the sake of it though.

The Ultra-X isn't a very good PSU, replace with Antec or Enermax.
