Im planning on having my this set up :)

At mo i have these two hard drives..

MAIN 1x 1Tb WD hard drive: Windows 7, programs, Music, files etc

Backup 1x 500Gb Samsung: when i reformat ill dump all my files from the main
hard drive (docs, music etc) onto this hard drive

Now im planning on getting 2 more hard drives to use in a RAID-0 config. These HDD's will be soley used to install my games & Steam on so when i have to reformat my hard drive i wont lose all the games -_- as they take AGES to redownload (from steam/direct 2 drive.com) and install!

This is my question:

Would 2 of these be okay to run in that set up? I know it only has 16Mb where some have 32Mb or even 63Mb cach. Tbh ive no idea if the 32Mb and 64Mb cache would make much diffrence in RAID-0. Anyways what do ya think? :)

Tbh i want to keep price lowish (below £90 but at a push £100)

P.s http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-245-WD&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=940 Even tho its 500Gb (1Tb in total) and the others i have linkied have been well below 500Gb. would useing two of these be as fast as if i bought two of the others.

Cache size typically scales with capacity / platter density so 16 MB for those drives is fine. To be fair I wouldn't choose either for RAID0. I see you have a 500 GB Samsung already. An F3 maybe? I'd be tempted to buy another and stripe those instead (if you must). I can't see you gaining a huge benefit to your games. Or within your £100 budget get a small SSD (Intel x25-V?) for the OS and progs, which would leave you with a storage drive and a dedicated games drive. Just a suggestion.
