Which new BMW hatch would that be? And why are new small hatchbacks an 'interesting time'? Sounds interesting only if you are a woman and enjoy shopping.

I heard rumours of a new BMW hatch on the way... ill see if I can track down the article. Its still in development.

Edit: Nah I cant find the article, I might be mistaken.

id guess it would be the new 1 series coupe?? which ive just double looked at and actually quite fond of now.

I know someone (industry insider

) who was working on the the A1 4+ years ago, guess its changed significantly since then and he's left Audi now - meh!

Audi has released images of its A1 Concept ahead of the car's Tokyo Motor Show debut. Officially dubbed the Audi Metroproject Quattro, the A1 is intended to take on BMW's Mini. Overall, the A1 has an aggressive stance and features aluminum arches that highlight the car's greenhouse. Audi's signature grille is prominent on the front end.
