Another Scott212 Insurance Rant?

For tracking speed, driving habits, what kinda driver you are. It's way off being implemented but is being tested on some people.

Interesting - I remember hearing about it on the news a while ago but it seemed to imply it was just to impose restrictions on time of day and distance travelled.

Guessing you work in the industry as you seem very knowledgeable?

Norwich Unions GPS Pay as you go system failed horribly, didn't it?

I dont know, to be honest. I knew they were trying it but i havent kept track. Ours is still on trial but no one has mentioned it for some time. I think the idea was that it would be an optional insurance, rather than a mandatory Big Brother esque jobbie. Cheaper Premiums in exchange for a bit of honesty and the ability to be caught out if you're naughty, sort of thing. People are likely to speed less if they're being watched.

I don't bring my work home with me i'm afraid. It's just a job. I wish i could take some responsibility but honestly i just make spreadsheets. It's my boss who makes all the decisions ;)

So its people like you who's fault it is that Scott212 is being treated so unfairly! How do you sleep at night? ;)

As discussed, all car insurance customers are treated fairly or unfairly depending on which way you look at it. I am no different to everyone else, so put that in your pipe and smoke it :D It's pathetic you lot claim that I think I am the only unfairly treated when I never once suggested that.

The S3 sounds pretty insane to me, not that I've driven one.
