Another Small Duke Nukem Forever Screenshot

there have been 3 screenshots that are real. The duke one did not "turn out to be a plastic model", thats just the conclusion people prefer - because its what was said before 3DR confirmed its real, and people hate to admit they're wrong.

3DR wouldnt confirm a fake shot of its own game, especially as it had no problen dismissing the other screens as fake. I think its pretty dumb for people to call confirmed shots fake tbh... And i dont see why people seemingly hate the game just because theyv spent so long over it..!

They're likely to release some proper media soon, theyre hinting that theyre ready to do so. These shots are just to show that the game does exist and that theyre actually going to start showing the game off.
 
Yes because when I want reassure people that my game is still in production and after 5 year of no screen shot/movies I will release very small pics and really crappy quality screenys to show it off.
 
Yeah, it's going to feel wierd for them I bet. 10+ years of work then *poff* the game goes gold and they've got no more Duke Nukem to make... They're gonna feel empty when that happens :p

As I understand it, the game has been started from scratch several times, and very few of the original team from 10 years ago still remains.
 
Yeah that's a good point - I read that a lot of the original team came and went... TBH I don't blame them, I think I'd have got bored working on the same project for all those years... I doubt they'll have anyone leave at this stage of the project though, not now it's actually getting there. I know I'd want to stick there until the projects complete
 
perhaps its going to be released in episodic picture format??
you get several pics at the start and pay to download the next picture in the never ending saga of duke?!
 
sounds like the development team dont get along, with it taking so long some are probably getting frustrated so they leave and then by the time they get anywhere a new engine comes out so they restart. Just a guess but its plausible :p Really dont get how they can take so long to make a game, they probably think of it more of as a hobby than a business venture.
 
Meh, as other people have said, I'll believe it when I've bought it and have it installing on my hard drive.

But I like to believe in things like this, makes me think there's still hope. :D

Still, I'd then be like "this isn't my hard drive, someone is having a giraffe". :p
 
Until they release proper quality screenshots or videos showing in-game footage, I wouldnt take anything from 3DRealms seriously.
