Another spec! £1000 - £1750.

My first car was also an Accord, which is still in the family with 120k miles on it. Great car, nothing ever really broke, despite the fact I didn't do too well in keeping to the service schedule.

I'd get about 36mpg on a steady run.

Meh, I picked it up earlier today and went for a good drive in it. It can happily sit in 5th at 30mph, and be nice and cheap but it also speeds up pretty quickly if I want too. My view is, it can be fun if I drive it pretty stupidly, but also it drives cheaply if I'm not an idiot with the throttle.
I know that there are much more sensible cars to buy, but I'm happy with the price and happy with the car...
It's far from the most economical car. It's not a very sensible buy. But I'm happy with it. We'll see how I feel a few months down the line.

And for those who doubt my wood... well... yeah, fair enough...
But I've got cruise control, so hah!#

PS. Vtech, y0.

The only moderately interesting I thought they did was make quite a good noise. Saying that, I was coming from a 210bhp 2.0 turbo so it was never going to feel fast.

Stop thinking it's not a sensible car because it only does 30-35mpg, it's about the most sensible car in the world and the fuel economy shouldn't be a problem with low mileage.

Take a jml magic eraser to the wood, it'll take the shine off and make it more bearable. Works wonders on a shiny steering wheel too. Mines got a "wood" centre console too - its like a sea of plastic wood in mine!

Dont talk about vtec though, the vtec Nazis will be over to tell us we don't have "proper" vtec :(
