Will mainly be used for gaming
I hopefully want to get a C2D close to 3ghz will this ram/cpu cooler/mobo combo work for that?
Only need 250gb HD space, have OS DVD drive case and all those things already.

This i what i came up with, if you can get better for close to 600 (inc VAT and delivery) post your suggestion please.
 
Id have a hard job finding anything wrong with that spec...But perhaps if u want 3GHz out of that CPU you should look into the Noctua/Tuniq Tower.

I would swap the E6320 for the E2160 and with the money you would save id upgrade the gfx card to a BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 640MB GDDR3.

Thats if your going to overclock mind.

Id also get a better cooler.

The man talks sense. Get a E2160 and with the money saved you can buy a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. The is currently the best CPU cooler and will see your e2160 up to 3GHz with ease. The 1MB Cache is not an issue as proved by a review in the CPU forum. What resolution will you be playing at?
