Another spec check plz

Hi there, just worked out my rough budget which is about £900 and have come up with this spec, please let me know what you think. thanks.

Thats what i have come up with so far, i already have a decent 500w PSU, will that be enough? i also have hard drives and optical drives as well.

Might want to swap the CPU and M/B to an Intel setup as it will perform better.

Something like a E6600 and a P35 motherboard.

Why not Core2Duo? They seem to be faster than the AMD's

Yeh, its just ive never really used intel before, is there a big difference between performance

Just had another look, at my budget and think i can maybe extend by another £80-90, and so have has another look and this is what have come up with.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz 1066MHz) Socket 775 L2 8MB Cache Retail (any real advantages over dual? just going on price looks good anyway!)

Asus P5N-E SLI 650i Socket 775 Onboard Audio ATX

Not sure if i should be spending extra on a CPu or graphics, although hoping to some time later on maybe to increase to SLI.
