Another spec me a 1440P monitor thread help please guys thanks please

Hey peeps,

So currently I have 3xAsus VG278H monitors running in 3D surround and would like to go to one 1440P monitor (if it is worth it). I have a budget of £400 and could go slightly over but would rather not. I have been gaming on one screen and using another for monitoring and web browsing. I would assume I could still connect 2 screens and use a 1440P for gaming and a 1080P for monitoring?

So any recommendations for one or is it worth me even bothering with?

No not at all. I went round doing a few site reviews who had nothing but admiration for it...That will teach me to not read up properly first

If the first isn't up to par, it is going back under DSR and I will get a different model. I am not prepared to keep going back and forth till I get a goodun.

Well monitor turned up and plugged in and no light bleed at all. I have give it a quick test on Bioshock Inf and loading screens are black and edges are black. My gripe is colours. I can't seem to get a setting that I like and they are not jumping out at me like they do with my Asus VG278H monitor.

Anyone got any tips please?

Just did a test with that proggy and it isn't good

It does look far worse than it is and the same test done on my AsusVG278H monitor (which is next to this Dell).

As you can see, it isn't that bad and probably so used to it with the Asus, It looked so much better on the Dell. Looks like I could be DSRing it

I don't want to go through the lottery though and might just accept it. The screen is pretty awesome and such good colours...Bahhhh, don't know what to do, as now having used it for a couple of hours, I want to keep it.

I didn't notice it till black scenes and now I can't stop looking at it arghhhhh
