Hello,

My poor trusty old diamondback is coming to its final legs after 7 years or more. It's still working but has lost all of its glide feet and is just generally grubby, so a new mouse is in order.

Budget - £50

Used a little bit for gaming (css etc), wired if possible, and looks nice.

Go at it spec monkeys.

Hmm i think mice and keyboards are a very personal choice m8. No one can tell you what mouse to get as its how they feel to you.

Best thing to do realy is go to Somewhere that has some of the mice on display. and try them out.

I've got the rat 5 and my friend had the rat 3. Mine is better in almost every way, fits my hand better and feels sturdier...and I paid less :). Not sure on the gaming side as I haven't got any games that fully use the extra mouse buttons yet.

Not in for something like the RATs... look a little bit too childish. Something plain and simple will suit me! I don't really game that much, I think the biggest workout it gets these days is moving to click cockpit controls.

I like the look of the Logitech G500, and it's in budget. Anyone vouch for it?

haven't used the G500 but it looks pretty decent. i use a G9x personally and love it. you can pick it up for around ~£50. nice braided cable, great responsivesness, and interchangeable grips]

only downside is the middle click isn't great but it's perfectly useable.

Sounds like a decent bet then, can't really go wrong with logitech if it goes wrong.

Order has been placed for delivery tomorrow :D overclockers you need to offer sunday dispatch! Also need some g500s in stock.
