Suggestions and help appreciated . Will be looking for a 128gb Ssd

Thanks

Don't need to avoid OCZ, there was an issue with sandforce controller ages ago but it's all good now.

Either of those 3 for me really, I'd be inclined to get the Intel because it's on offer. The Crucial and Intel seem to have better write speeds than the Samsung, but realistically you wouldn't notice the difference.

There isn't much price difference between the Intel and the Crucial, as many people are happy with the Crucial M4's as there are people happy with the Samsung 830's. I would get the Crucial M4 and flash it.

Personally I don't like OCZ because of how much crap ram I've had from them. Also don't like the way their SSD look visually. Neither are really valid points against their SSD though.

its upto you really, you want a sata3 ssd though

the crucial m4 is good but the samsung 830 is a better drive, there are faster drives like the vertex 4 but would you notice? i dont think you would in real world usage

just depends on your budget and best deal ect

Budget is around £100 and I would just like it to be quick and reliable . The Samsung drive does look good on paper and in reviews but is also the most expensive out of them all .

I don't think there is a bad choice between the Crucial M4 and the Samsung 830, get whichever you can afford. I have the Samsung and love it, the software is nice too. Also the 830 comes with Ghost which might come in handy. :) Also convenient it doesn't need flashing.

next best options would be the crucial m4 or the intel, then if they are still too high id be looking at the sandisk extreme

I do like the look of the Samsung and the advantage of ghost would be a bonus , when you talk about flashing ? I'm guessing at the firmware being flashed ?
