Another Spec Me Thread - Sorry

I'm looking at getting a new TV after my 4k monitor suffered a rather annoying PS4 controller related accident.

Instead of plumping £400 on a monitor I figure it might make sense to go for a 4k TV which can then double up as a monitor. I'm aware I'll need a DP to HDMI 2.0 converter to actually display 4k on the TV as the 780's I have don't support 4k via HDMI.

I guess the next question is which TV to go for? Are there any I should particularly avoid? I'm looking at 40"-49" size range, ideally don't want to spend more than £600.

Sorry, I know there are a lot of spec me threads here.

Any help you can provide will be gratefully received.

I threw my controller onto the desk, where it skimmed perfectly like a stone into my monitor.

I realise that any kind of controller throwing is something you would expect from a 12 year old and not a 33 year old man, and am suitable embarrassed by the whole escapade.

Back to the point of the thread, I've done some further research and it seems Samsung is the way to go. I lumped for the JU6500 series, as it seems one of the few that will output 4k @ 60Hz.
