I've got £500 (max) to spend so what's the best PC I can get for my money?

I've already got a 24" Dell screen, 800W OCZ Power Supply, DVD ReWriter and Speakers and I've got Windows 7 64-bit from University. I've also got 3 x 500GB Hard Drives but want a faster drive if possible.

A new wireless keyboard/mouse would be nice too :)

EDIT: The computer will be used for Web Development

^ but I'd dump the G11, get cheaper gpu, maybe 4850 and grab better case and maybe aftermarket cooler for the saved cash.

Its all depends on how much he games, which is uncertain right now, if he doesnt game then a cheaper mouse/keyboard and less GPU power and then use the amount saved on maybe a SSD since he has 1.5tb of HDD.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't game at all. In my current system I have a GeForce 8800GT so don't mind keeping that to save some cash towards something else. Is AMD my best bet then as I've always gone Intel in the past.

At this stage in the year, unless you are able to wait for the new sockets, then yes AMD is your best bet. It's about 90% certain that AMD will continue on with allowing upgrades to at least 800 series AM3 boards and you can get quite a powerful bit of kit for your money.
I used to be intel faithful until they started going through sockets like I go through pringles and I enjoy the performance and lower prices just fine!
