Another strange medical question.

I started a thread on here a couple of days ago and I got an answer pretty quick. Tried to google again but couldn't find much.

Does anyone know of any medical fair type things? E.g. the kind of thing they always have on the simpsons for science projects and that kind of thing.

I'm thinking of a big hall space, where each new idea has a table to themself and maybe a 20 minute talk to promote whatever they've made. The kind of thing like a car show, that sort of setup.

A very very strange question I know but if anyone knew it would be a big help.

There are always loads of medical conferences all over the place. I don't think there is a single large all encompassing medical expo, but each different speciality normally holds a big conference each year with numerous smaller ones during the year to discuss recent findings and for drug reps to pimp their wares.

Most of them are around but are more than likely to be at places where drugs companies or medical equipment manufacturers can sponser them (makes sense really...).

I like them for their free lamps.

these days they tend to be more specialised and focused. We have trade exhibitions at our meetings where companies who make/market equipment and consumables for our field of research are invited
