Another track day, more pics!!

Nice pics fella looks fun!

When you get your knee down what determines how far you will go, speed?
Also when you do it do you need to push on the inner handle bar to keep the wheel straight and aiming forwards?

Wyvern971, i like the knee protectors... do they go to an unhappy face the more they get worn down :p ??

Lol, nope, it would be cool if they were like that though :)

The speed you enter the corner at determines how far over you have to lean it to maintain your line. To tighten it lean over further, less when you start to stand it up and get on the power.

To lean over further you apply more pressure to the inside bar.

The 1st time you get your knee down you see it as an achivemrnt.

After that it doesn't seem to matter quite as much.

Had another one today myself but eh...

Looks like a very wet Mallory park....

I have to say I wasn't all that keen on Mallory when I went there.

That could have course be because last time I was there it was on my sisters 600RR, which I took onto the grass at the exit of Gerrards at around a ton. (Kept it upright though!).

Looking back at Mallory it wasn't a great track, fun and good for a first track day but after Bedford speed and long corners win!!

I enjoyed my Mallory last Friday. Good fun little circuit, certainly not Cadwell or Donington but I really enjoyed the Lakes Esses, such a great feeling accelerating through a kneedown, then forcing the bike over to the other side.
