IMO there's far to many average games that recieve high scores for nothing more than flashy visuals, i.e. Gears Of War
And yet other games like Viva Pinata that are creative and imaginative that don't recieve the scores they deserve

AMEN! i got this last week and i absolutely love it, possibly my fave 360 game so far
At last I got my 360 back, after only 37/38 days, wow what a service. Put it on, put GOW in and had a DRE within minutes... NEW copy of GOW i might add, DVD drive is nosier than my other one, what a shambles. Had a go at GOW eventually and remembered how crap it was being on a peer to peer server, the host was thrashing everyone one shot. No more 360 for me I am more than happy to say as it's going, weeee!

F1 is a good game but it has no direct competition either, Sony own the F1 license. It's not as good a racing game as Forza in terms of track racing, however it's a good laugh on line and for me, the best exclusive between consoles.
Resistance is just not very good in Single Player. I've mentioned why several times, so I won't bother again.
Oblivion is a good game, but it's on the Xbox360 as well, so I couldn't count that as a great game one way or the other (in favour of 360, because it's pointless).
As you say though, it's all a matter of opinion.

Why do people pretend that multi-platform games don't exist when talking about what games are available for the PS3? So what if they are out on the 360 too... they are still good games and not everyone who owns a PS3 has a 360 as well. I am quite happy with the games I have on my PS3 and I'm really looking forward to the games due out for it in the near future too.

As for Sigma if I'd have still had my PS3 I would have bought it purely because I never got very far with Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox.
I believe EA have the rights to F1 games as of this (or next) year. Of course it'll take them a few years to develop, or maybe if they were clever (but this is EA) they started two years ago and everthing is in place ready for the official stuff to be added, but I doubt it.NokkonWud said:

Maybe Studio Liverpool will sell EA the track data/models etc to give them a jump on it. Would be a good way to make a wee bit of extra off the license that has now ran out. Though i don't know how much devs would do this kind of thing, Nokkon or Nintenjo might no more.
What i find interesting though is that GT5 said something about having grand prix cars in it.
Oh my, the comic strip continues... Just taken apart my 360 to get the dvd drive out. Taken it apart and its full of dust and crap. There are marks on the lens surround where it's been catching on something... That something is my discs, it's my old drive back, still giving DRE's. I have checked the repair log that came back with it and they haven't done anything to it at all, not a damn thing. So i have waited almost 40 days to get my console back still getting DRE's and making horrible grinding noises when it does so, same console, same drive, no added 'pads' to the lens surround nothing, what a bunch of goddamn idiots
