Hello.

I haven't built a PC since 2006 and I've been using Macs for the last 5 years so I'm really out of touch with hardware. I'm planning on building a decently specced all-rounder PC for Photoshop/Lightroom work, future HD video editing and gaming. I've got a preliminary spec but one big question mark for me is the RAM speed. I've really no idea which speed to pick, so I just selected one at random  . Anyway, here's my choices:

Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27" Widescreen LED Monitor - Midnight Grey : £389.99
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card : £289.99
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM : £179.99
Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E500B/EU) : £155.99
Asus Z97 Pro Gamer Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard : £107.99
Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R) : £89.99
Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-Bit DVD - OEM (WN7-00614) : £79.99
Fractal Design Define S Midi Tower - Black : £61.99
SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black : £59.99
Be Quiet! Pure Rock Cpu Cooler - 120mm : £28.99
TP-Link 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter (TL-WDN4800) : £26.99

Total : £1,492.10

Any comments would be appreciated :). Note that I already have storage for the inevitable large files produced by video editing. I can always add drives if I find space is tight too.

Thanks!
