Another "What do ya reckon"

Set all that, few q's though

DRAMDRAM Voltage 1.500v .............. 1.500v [set to 1.66v] < shows up as pink warning you may die, deffo gonna be ok?
as does QPI/VTT Voltage 1.150v ............ 1.175v [set to 1.32v-1.35v you will need to test start with 1.34v]may need more with 12gb

whats printed on your ram 1.5v or 1.65v? if 1.5v then set to 1.5v if 1.65v then set to 1.66v,trust me ive run my ram at 1.66v for 3 years and still working fine,as for qpi/vtt its fine at that, the more ram you have the more you will need,i use 1.32v qpi/vtt @4.2ghz with 6gb of ram so you will need more

i wouldnt tell you anything that would harm your pc

are you running now at 3.6ghz with those settings? and does cpu downclock at idle?

you forgot to disablt intel turbo boost, should be 21x170 not 22x 170,but if its stable you have higher oc,what are temps like and does cpu throttle when idle?

nevermind i see temps,74c is fine

The cpu does indeed throttle when idle, which is nice :D

turning turbo off gives the correct multiplier of 21x
running now at 3.57ghz.

gonna run a wprime long test now

core temps @ idle
CPU Core #1 : 36
CPU Core #2 : 38
CPU Core #3 : 39
CPU Core #4 : 36

60% through a wPrime and the core temps are avg 70c

what should i pay more attention to, the core or the cpu temp?

Always go off coretemps as they get the hottest first,CPU temps are taken later as its cooled a little

Sweet :D

It seems stable enough :D
You, sir, are a decent spoonfeeder.
I am eternally grateful for your help.

Is it a good/bad idea to drop the vcore a little only so it runs a little cooler?

Yes that's the whole idea to try and get best poss oc with the lowest voltage, just lower or set dvid to +0.000v,or if still high set dvid to -0.0100v to take off voltage at load or more if needed
