I know its hardly the worlds most thrilling of subjects, but I'm spoilt for choice really; I need a set for the back, but the fronts are pretty close to needing doing too, really - so cost does become a bit of a factor, but I'm not usually one to cheap out on this sort of stuff so I'm after something decent but not massively pricey, only I'm not sure of what the best price/performance balance is; it doesn't help that they're a fairly odd size (205/50-15)
From the 2 places around here, there's;
Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 - £96
Continental PremiumContact 2 - £86
Bridgestone RE040 - £80
Toyo T1R - £73
Uniroyal Rainsports - £68
Kuhmo KU31 - £66
The car is an Alfa 155, so an average-weight FWD saloon.
Technically, I could do all 4 right away in any of those except the Michelins, though the Continentals and Bridgestones would make the wallet hurt a little too. Is it worth it though?
