Hi all,
I was just wanting to know when it comes to SSD drives, are they the same as other drives? I mean if you buy a IDE/SATA drive and it's say 160gb you infact only get around 149gb of space that you can use, why is that? I mean if you was to fill your car with fuel and you wanted 30 litres and only got say 24 you wouldn't be to happy about that, so why is it the norm when it comes to HD's.
I am building a new rig and I just wanted to know if SSD are the same as other drives, as the price of them is still quite high and I want to know what would be the best drive to install.
