antec 300 vs 900

hi all i am deciding which case to go with! i like the cooling potential and the size of the antec 900 but prefer the aesthetics of the 300 as i dont like the lights and window on the 900! am i right in thinking that they are identical in internal dimensions and layout and externally the 900 is slightly taller due to the added on plastic triming? does anyone know if it is possible to change the 140mm top exhaust fan in the 300 for the 200mm one in the 900?

Hi best bet is the 300 imo, get the 3 optional 120mm fans for is and i will have the same cooling potential as the 900 without the nasty look

and nope mate the top of the 300 takes only a 140mm fan, you could always get a blue one if you really wanted to lol

i love my 300 (also fits under a desk lol)

and get 3 fans like these and you will be set..

It has the same amount of space internally as the 900 just without the side window and fancy look which I don't like anyway.

The new 900 has just turned up and with a black interior, dust filters and big 200mm top fan.

Im stuck on whether to go for the Antec 300 or CM 690, i prefer the looks of the 300 compared to the Antec 900, 1200 and CoolerMaster 690, but the 300 is against me in terms of size

Doubtful whether the latest GFX cards and X58 chipset will fit nicely in the Antec 300 so im forced to go for the CM 690 or Antec 1200 etc !

I just received my antec 300 and things are remarkably snug in there for a full sized setup. But things do fit in there
