where to i connect the molex plug for the fans? do i need some kind of adapter?

just plug them straight into a connector from your power supply. You can also connect them to each other in a chain and then you're only using up one connector from your power supply.

ah ok, i un boxed it last nite and it looked as tho they were both male molex plugs... guess not, ill have a play tonite if i get chance to swap cases

They're M&F plugs, you plug the molex from your power supply in and it leaves you with a male plug so you can still use it for something else, the other fan for example
