Antec 850 PSU Failed Again..Need a new PSU

I've just RMA'd my Antec 850W direct with supplier due to another online seller arguing the toss over 1 days guarentee. I had the second PSU for 366 days then it went faulty...

Thats the last time I go there...I should have stuck with overclockers! LOL
 
Hi was the unit ticking? I've replaced 5 fans in the 750 and 850 units due to this noise. Voids the warranty but better than a replacement doing the exact same thing (had this with one 850).
 
My Antec 850W HC PRO used to just shut down as if a power cut had happened. The rails were balanced so should have been fine.

I'm going for 1x rail design this time.....cant decide between the OCZ or the XFX
 
OK I'll go for the XFX.....
For what I am about to receive...may the lord make me truly thankful...

XFX trigger pulled.....When I resell the Antec I should get about £75 back anyway...
 
I had an OCZ PSU fail and they basicly told me that unless I paid for the postage to the Netherlands they wouldn't do anything about it so I would avoid due to that matter.

EDIT: The postage would have cost more than a new unit.

which is one of your new considerations....and it has the ticking problem.
 
I got £115 back for my Antec refunded directly...No new replacement as it was 12 months old....Didnt think this was possible...I thought I would get a replacement that I would have to sell...

I just had the Antec TruePower New Modular 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply die on me, bought March 10.
I have contacted Antec for RMA, still waiting after sending them an invoice.
If not I am in the hunt for a similar PSU with a nice price tag.

High Current Pro is 5 years.

Your Truepower 650 is at least 3years, think it maybe 5 also.

Where do you have to send the PSU back to dealing with Antec directly?

Might it not be easier to go through the retailer?
