Has anyone tried this? The top of the case states it can fit 3x140MM fans but only a 360MM rad is supported, i believe this is because of the different sizes in end tanks/fittings on rads.. The P20CE says the same support at the front but i manage to fit a 420MM Arctic Freezer 3 AIO at the front "just".

Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has the case could you please measure the distance internally from front to back at the top of the chassis? :)

Offically it doesn't support a 420mm, but as stated to ZXSpectrum, some may fit in, but we do not have a list of what they may be.

You can fit 3 x 140mm fans in the top - but the problem is 420mm rads don't all have the same size fill port bulk head section, so we are unable to give "official" approval for 420mm rads as some certainly may not fit.

Well after looking at the specs/measurements of both the case and the aio i do believe it will fit... i will update when i get it ordered and will get some pics up. I might have to put the fans between the case and the Rad to give a little clearance for the clips that hold the front panel on but hopefully doable.

Did you ever buy and try this?

I currently have the original Lian Li 011 Air and love the dual chamber modularity and openness of it for air flow (as I remove the drive cage etc and have no HDDs or SSDs installed as I use only NVMe drives). However, I’ve been looking to get the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420 to help further reduce temps and struggling to find smaller, dual chamber cases that support it, or may support it.

The Antecedent C8 says it supports 3 140mm up top and that there is 70mm clearance before the motherboard, so my hope is that this may b one where the Liquid Freezer III 420 may fit at the top.

I havnt tried it yet but I do plan to in the future. 38mm for the rad and 25mm for the fans should be fine above the motherboard it’s just the length. It says it can fit 3x140mm fans at the top and from what I can see there should be a little more room that hopefully should allow for the end tanks of the rad.

Yeah, that’s what I noticed that it supports 3 x 140mm fans. How much bigger than 3 x 140mm is the 420 radiator? Surely can’t be more than a few millimetres.

According to the technical information its 458mm long so 40mm longer than the 3x140mm fans so i would give an extra 10mm on top for wiggle room but depends on how much room is available. I have managed to fit a 420 in the front of a P20CE which states it will only fit a 360mm Rad and 3x140mm fans.

Unfortunately without the technical drawing of the C8 chassis or one at hand i cant 100% say if it will or not.
