Nice :)

Whats going in it? and presumably you're running Media centre on it?

From the #3 post - Going to put the Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2 and Turion ML-40 @ 2.6GHz and a Geforce 7600GS into it - along with a 250GB HD and DVD burner. HD is a WD250 at the moment - may replace it with a samsung 300GB spinpoint when funds permit.

The 7600gs is silent - and yes, it will run MCE 2005 - I do have the vista ultimate beta2 so I may put that as a dual boot and give that a try.

No, the feet are there as 4x HiFi feet cost a lot more, cutting corners and I never like that in a case.

If it was to soak up vibrations, then all the feet would have to be the same style, or it just would not work.

Looks right at home, although is it slightly wider than the rest of your gear?

Yes, its fairly tight down the sides - but some air should get in on the left - intake for the PSU bay - and some from below the HD's to be exhausted out the back right side - the central vertical strut in the tv unit doesnt go too deep - so 1.5 of the 120mm fans should be un-obstructed.

I don't really mind on the feet front - I guess the front ones have to look hi-fi-ish as they are on show - but for sound proofness, the back ones look better suited to absorbing the vibs - and theres 3-4 vibrating things in the back half of the case for the back feet to soak up (psu fan, cpu fan and the 2 120mm fans) whilst the front fet only have one hard disk to soak up - and a dvd if its spinning.

sorry for going off topic but whats the tannoy system Like? Need something small for movies and so far monitor audio is my only consideration. My mains are purely for music and eventually used with dedicated music system.

Very good - its main selling point was it was 1/2 price - £199 instead of £399 - and that was only because it had gone EOL - to be replaced by some other FX something model. The speakers are heavy - they weigh close on 2lbs each so not tinny at all. I'm not an expert by any means, but its good enough for me.

I've been looking at this case, but I've also been looking as the NSK2400. The only differences I can see between the two are the stealth bay, the VFD, the volume know and the slightly more powerful PSU.

Some nice additions, but I don't see how that makes it worth over twice as much. Is the NSK2400 just a really good deal, or is the Fusion overpriced for what it is?

I've just orderd and awaiting delivery. The only item I couldn't find any specs on was the VFD - does anyone know if it is supported by LCD Smartie?

Guess I'll find out in a few days but always impatient!

MCE Remote Receiver

Hi,
Like the case, just wish they hadn't spoiled the look of it by including the stupid volume knob, I mean come on, how often is that going to be used!? Also would have been nice if they made a cheaper version with just an aluminium face plate and stealth drive bay.

On question:

Is there room to mount the MCE Remote Receiver inside the case behind the smoked glass panel, along side the VFD?

Sorry to drag this thread up but i'm going to order one hopefully :)

Will a ATI X1800XT fit inside and is there any space inside for a MCE remote reciever?

Thanks

Anyone know what this is like in comparison to some of the Silverstone cases (such as the LC11M and the LC02)?
