I was just about to click to buy one of these and I remembered I had read a few threads on here of people buying them around January time, and thought I'd ask if they were behaving themselves so far?

Apparently built by Seasonic so should be solid.

Edit: Also, does it come with the correct cable for a 5090?

Yes it does. This is the thread you are looking for:

Installed mine yesterday and so far it's been silent and cold to the touch, very impressed. I really like the feel of the cables too, very tactile and flexible. Will do some gaming later in the week and report back.

Received mine yesterday and hoping to fit today. Looks and feels very nice quality. Much smaller than my trusty HX1000i.

Can’t fault OcUK delivery, always next day. Thanks for looking after the forum members, really appreciated:)

So after a good hour and a half of gaming and several benchmarks, the PSU remains conspicuous in it's silence and barely feels warm. I'm very happy I chose one of these :)
Interesting. My psu fan comes on when the load is above roughly 320 watts at the socket. I was a bit disappointed with this to be honest. Are other peoples psu silent?

My corsair HX100i was silent on all loads.

My 1000w comes on when my GPU (9070XT) is under load. So that would be around the same wattage figure as you.

It's silent at desktop with the hybrid mode on.

The website for the PSU does have a fan graph that shows the fan coming on around 20% load - https://www.antec.com/product/power/hcg1000-pro-platinum-atx31

That’s good to know. Like you say in the desktop it’s silent and other fans will ramp under load, like the GPU. No coil whine which is a massive plus.
