Antec is back at OcUK!

Do you do any cases that are basically the same layout and functionality as the FLUX PRO but with a more simple look (e.g. no wood, simpler mesh front) and without the digital display?

Also, am I the only person that hates the look of reverse fans? They just look weird to me. What the advantage over a normal fan blowing in the same direction?
The flux and flux pro are new unique case designs from us - nothing else has the same internal case layout/design.

The purpose of a reverse blade fan is so that when you have them installed either on the bottom of the bottom or on the PSU shroud and also in side intakes of fish tank cases is so that you do not have the mount the fan backwards and have the wrong side of the fan on display. The reverse blade pulls air in, instead of pushes it. You canot really see any difference, but they pull air in, instead of push it in.

I don't really understand not liking the look of reverse blade fans, they are reverse blade so they look like normal fans installed not backwards. Unless I'm missing something?

I'm assuming no answer means there isn't a "simplified" version of the Flux PRO?
Well the flux is a smaller mid tower version that doesn't have the temp displays and doesn't have the special PSU turned mount with pass through cable etc. but does have the same front design with the wood.

I confirmed no other cases we have currently use the same internal design.

Ah sorry, I missed that. I see you edited the post, did you add that bit in? It was obviously there when I replied but maybe it wasn't when I read it.

I did look at the Flux but I think I like the slightly bigger case aspect of the PRO. I don't hate the digital display it's just that I'd never use it (I couldn't see it from where I'm sat and I'm not installing the software required to use it).
Even the front panel isn't the end of the world really, I just wondered if there were other options.
I do like that it comes with 6 fans (not sure if they're any good, not looked into them), so annoying when similar cases come with 3 fans.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, especially given the time of day you did it.
Happy to reply anytime :) I was a member of these forums, long before I worked at OCUK and then Antec :)

As for the fans, they are good, considering the gamers nexus review shows they give the best cooling performance of any case on the market currently. This is a great testament to the performance of both the fans and the case design for cooling.

SomthingDaft, I hope that you get it sorted quickly and easily.

I'm finidng similar with the delivery guys around here.

I think I'm settling on the C8 for my next build. I was tempted by the dazzle of the Flux Pro, but I don't think it brings enough extra for the cost, and ultimately I personally prefer the look of the front glass on the C8.
Both are excellent choices :-) The C8 is the go-to case for if you want front glass panel for styling, with good cooling
The FLUX Pro is the case to go for if you want the best of the best cooling performance.

It probably would if not for dust filters, but the idea being that all incoming air is done through dust filters and all the cracks and opening that don't have filters will have the air flowing out due to the positive pressure. If you had negative pressure then air would be getting sucked in through all those places along with dust and no filters to catch it.

Or at least that the theory I believe.
Yes, pretty much.

With positive pressure the only air coming in would be forced in-take, ie, fans.

If you have negative pressure, then the air outside the case would being naturallly pulled in to pressurise the case, via none forced means, ie cracks/gaps outside of fans etc.
