Antec MX1 Problem

I've got an MX1 eSATA caddy with a 500GB HDD installed. I use it as my torrent drive. Every once in a while I lose the drive from 'My Computer' and have to switch the caddy off/on to bring it back. I can hear/feel the drive spinning even though its vanished.

Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

More than likely the caddy, I would try it in your PC (if you have one) for a couple of days to rule it out.
