Antec Super LANBoy - What's the catch?

Yeh its nothing more than a normal case with a lot more room above. :)

I see no reason why it should not!

And just for Berserker:

VENTO in green.

Isn't it vile. :D

Lan Boy, I agree a awsome case and perfect for any setup.

That case above is Crap, hate the look even when closed.

That case above falls apart, without human intervention, and retails at £90+.

Runs very hot and makes whistling noises with any high CFM fans.

Its a brilliant case, the worst one you can buy in my opinion!

OK so im just about to press the order button for *** super lanboy but I have one question, will it hold my 7800gtx? people have been saying its on *** cramped side, I dont want to buy it and find out its too small :(

Well I've got a 7900gtx in mine and its fits no probs. Gonna be gettin a 2nd gtx soon so might have to get a new case if its too cramped :(

Ive got one for the money cant fault it for the amount it costs.

Only problem i had was i/o shield plate was a bit stubborn at going in so i got a bit forcefull and bent the back panel out of shape, so bare in mind (like i should have) light weight costs you in the strength department lol

I'm thinking about getting this case to since it's so cheap, but i'm not 100% sure, since people also give a lot of praise to the PC-7. The Lian Li PC-7 looks a little nicer, but does the cooling, noise levels and build quality give it a good enough edge over the Lanboy to justify spending another £23, and eventually more if I want to buy a side window? And has it been confirmed that it has got a rear 120mm fan rather than a 80mm fan?

Also, does adding a side blowhole as i've seen many people good for the cooling or are the stock fans good enough?

Yes.

From OcUK, Yes.

Generally, yes, although it's mainly for Intel rigs. There is a funnel that directs air directly down onto the stock intel cooler, hence the blowhole.

I have the Super Lanboy too, can't really fault it that much for it's price. I was considering buying something far more expensive like £100+ but saved the extra cash to upgrade other components.

Pro's
- space for umpteen drives
- the 2 x 120mm case fans do a good job and are fairly silent
- front fan led looks pretty cool
- just a nice big case that can accomodate pretty much hardware/component

Cons
- Flimsy front door
- toolbox is handy but again flimsy
