I need a faceplate for the 300 as its been damanged somehow....got it a few weeks ago but its been put back in its box after a quick look over so i dont know how its happend :/ but theres a obvious chip/scratch on the lower left faceplate...

do i contact antec and ask to charge for a replacement (thats if they have spare faces) or am i stuffed....orr does anyone know where i can get a new faceplate from? :)
 
Only thing on ebay appears to be DVD-drive faceplates, guess you need to contact Antec.

Post in here what happens as I am sure others will be interested in how you get on!
 
i have sent a 'trouble ticket' as they call it a few hours ago and im waiting on a reply. I dont expect them to do it on a weekend :p but monday (i hope) should be the day.

theres a little box that says trouble priority - Spare Parts in green...so i assume its not that important to them ;/

well see, ill keep you updated
 
Red is probably reserved for 'your power supply just killed somebody, help!'

I would wait till late Monday before checking your e-mail as you have no idea what part of the world handles those e-mails :)
 
will do :) was looking for an aftermarket/replica type thing but apparently they are quite stringent on reproductions so i had no look with that :( lol was thinking of getting some of my car body filler and putting that in mixed with some black paint XD bit o tcut sorted XD

i know someone that kept getting little electric shocks off his psu, few days later all the components were shot...i think it was a lose wire in the psu that eventually came off cuz i wouldnt see a pc even turning on without one :S lol but was quite funny :D

The guy that introduced me to overclocking had a wire fall out of a molex connector in his DVD-drive (+12V or +5V, I forget), it fell and landed on the CPU heatsink, then slid onto the RAM and came to rest on the BIOS chip (it left scorch marks!)

The only survivors from that incident was the 56k modem he never used, external peripherals (minus 1 USB drive), the DVD-Drive and a Sound card. He was totally gutted about it


If you are good with body filler and paint then it may be an option but I would wait and see what Antec say first!
 
Antec are very good with replacements. In transit from getting my case back from modding the front panel on my P182 was smashed. Emailed Antec with pictures and 2 days later received a brand new front panel via express shipping from Holland, no questions asked.

I had the opposite experience I found them to be very poor and wanted me to pay over £15 for shipping this was the Europe Antec so I contacted the US Antec and was a lot nicer but said they can't help I would have to contact Europe Antec or go to retailer I purchased from.
 
Right since I posted this topic ive had a few emails from them asking to see the damange (photographs) and just asking me a few questions about the damage being 'visable'.

Today i got reply saying they would send out the replace straight away :)

but it wont be with me until tuesday cuz of easter XD
