**Antec Three Hundreds in stock now & Twelve Hundreds due in a couple of weeks!**

Just wish Antec would realise it'd make cable tidying a lot easier/better if they just lengthend their front panel cables by a few more inches. :mad:
 
I really wanted a 1200, but the Lian-Li A77's taken some of that desire away for me, however I'm seriously thinking of the 300, it's very cheap and I could practice some modding on it without having a heart attack, the top's much nicer than the 900 as well.

was thinking of doing the same thing. it looks great in those pictures above . is it actually smaller than the 900 or is it just the pictures that decieve you.

at like £35 ... im thinking why not. could paint it and mod it in so many ways .
 
I think it's roughly the same size, 9 5.25's high. If Antec sell those fan cages for the front separately then doing the 3 fan mod wouldn't be too hard, plus I'd cut out the area at the top where the switches are and stick a laptop slot loading DVD drive in.
 
Ed, how easy was it to do cable tidying with?

One thing i i really want to do is get it looking like yours when i get one, i have SATA DVD/HDD drives apart from a single old IDE HDD.
 
I think the 300 looks brilliant, never been so keen on the 900 nor the new 1200.

Antec P180/2 + 300 are the best ones they've made I think.
 
i got an antec 300 at the weekend along with loads of other bits. The fans are really quiet and the case feels really solid. Was quite a tight fit with the stuff i got inside but expected that everything is nice and cool cant really beat it for 50 quid.

If anyone is interested this is the hardware i got inside the case:

got any pics ? ... i wouldnt fancy two 8800gtx in the 300. i would have opted for a larger more roomy case myself.

il try answer some of the questions

well. since the last post i didnt clean the fan filter too see if it actualy worked. and it does :) it was covered in dust which in this case is a good sign :D

as for the cables managment side of things. i personally havnt tried to make everythin look really good inside the case yet. ive taped a few wires and stuffed them behind things but thats about it. il try n make it look good when i have totaly finished my build. got a few more things im saving for first.

I dont have aloooot of experience with cases, but with the ones i have used this is the quietest of them all. and with more fans that all of the previous cases (once the optional ones are installed) thats pretty good imho. suppose it does deppend on what fans your going to use tho eh. the stock ones are good though :)

sorry if it seems im trying to sell this case to you... but i am :D

cant fualt it for the price tbh.

I would be interested to hear from people who have multiple hard drives in an Antec 300 case, regarding any vibrations etc...
 
hey,

had no big issues with dust as of yet. but im going to buy a 120mm dust filter for the optional side fan as i have nothing at all there to stop the dust! but nothing major as of yet, lets hope it stays that way eh?

i only have one hard drive in the case so cant help you there.

and lewism would u like pics of any area of the case in particular?
 
I gotta admit the Antec 300, imo looks better then the 900 and 1200:)

I would buy it but dont like cramp/smaller cases + already in love with Lian li cases, antecs my ex ;)
 
Has there been any more news of the 200mm radiator for the top fan that was shown with the 1200 when it was revealed?
