Antec Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - IN STOCK NOW!!!

Nice...Would you say this case is over the top for someone like me doing a 1st build, without the intentions of mad overclocking... nor am I a hardcore gamer. Infact, I rarely play games.

Not overkill at all.

If you can afford it you will be buying a case which you wont need to replace again.

From pure functionality this case is brilliant, its only down to the styling that will either make or break the case for you.

The 900 may also be worth looking at, how much you budgeted for the case?

If they removed the gimic from the top I don't think it would look so ugly. Might even concider getting one

edit: actually no I won't much too big for what I need

yewen, give us a shot of the insides when u build. i wanna see if i can get good cable management, w.o modding this. my akasa zen, if i mod any more, will just collapse, with all the holes it has :D

Yewen, Budgets not really an issue but lets say under £150. Ideally I'm after a case thats dark, sleek and sexy. Obviously this Antec case is the opposite but the cooling will be immense.
Going off topic slightly, sorry, but I have just been looking at the LIAN LI website, they have some very nice cases, I really like the TYR PC-X2000, and those air intake vents at the side of the case is doing it for me big time. But this case is just TOO TALL. :( at 680mm its twice the height of my current advent tower. Its the same height as my desk lol

Edit: Just seen the PC-A71 case, still a tad too tall though.

Don't reeeally see the point in having such an extravagant case tbh. No elegance or beauty to it anyway. If its huge air cooling you're after, buy one of those xclio cases.

Personally i'm happy with my 20 quid jeantech box. :)

well, just measured my desk and its 570mm from bottom shelf to the underside of the k'board shelf, No 1200 for me then and all because of 12mm.

Had a look at the V series of cases like the v1000 etc?

Not going to be building in one unfortunately, once OcUK offers these in the full systems can post some pictures up then. :)

A few questions, how much does the case weigh because I sometimes lug my PC around a friends house, and the current case I have almost is enough to attract objects towards it, it's mass is so large.

Does it come with all the fans and whatever like in the picture ? never purchased a decent case before

That is the case right out of the box. :) What you see is what you get down to the film covering and white box of bits.

It is reasonably heavy and quite large, its comparable to a old Cheiffy Dragon full tower for anyone who knows them.

I'm very very interested in this case. I have never spent anything more than £60 on a case, but this is temtping.

My last purchase was a choice between a Soprano and a 900, I went for the Thermaltake, as I was concerned about the dust build up, but since moving house, my PC sits on my desk, not the floor, so I think dust should not be quite the issue as when my pc case lived in the kitchen on the floor...tiled floor too, which attracted a fair bit of dust.

/Don't tell me I should have cleaned my house more :)

That case is just too perfect for my needs at the moment. :(

Thanks for the pics Yewen. :)
