What's the easiest way to find out what type of antenna connector your wireless equipment has? Is there an easy way to tell by looking at the connector? I'm thinking of sticking some higher gain antennas on my wireless adapters.

Yes but remember the Yagi is a directional antenna and needs to be correctly aligned. Also check the polarisation matches on the remote antenna.
