Anti Sag Brackets

Not sure if men of culture would agree or not ...
I'm sure both are good, but a little bit of sag couldn't hurt could it?

When we built my cousins new PC this weekend, I noticed the Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite comes with a reinforced PCIe bracket for the GPU
The case didn't come with a GPU support bracket, despite being the compact version of my case (the Fractal Torrent) and neither did the GPU, which is also the non-XT version of my GPU as well (Sapphire Pulse 9070XT). At least that 9070 non-XT looks like a size of GPUs we used to get, even the box was tiny compared to the XT box. I guess it will be fine without a bracket, given how much smaller and lighter it is.

I kinda wish we could go back to the old days of 2-slot mid-range GPUs, using more also loses out on a PCIe slot that could have been used, in addition to the chonky weight. We put his old RX480 in a motherboard box and it fit with space to spare!

I personally like obese GPU's, the bigger they are, the more your getting for your money :D:cry: and I think it looks cool when it fills out the case :)

Xfx got it right when they named their GPUs thicc

Accepting the fact that almost everything I print on the 3D printer is upgrades for the 3D printer... this has got to be my next favourite item to do. There are some awesome designs out there for supports to fit the aesthetic of every build. Got to be a better choice than the bog-standard bracket. Failing that, there is always lego (red or green as appropriate!) :)

Hi All,

Been a while since I've had a proper gaming build.. recently got a new PC and along with it came a Zotac RTX 4070 which is pretty chunky thing (not as big as others but!!)

It didn't come with any sort of Anti Sag Bracket as seems to be the thing with the bigger 40/50 series card,

Are they worth it for Longevity? main issue I have is I have case fans along the bottom of my case.

Any advice?

Lego is the best. (from Reddit forum)

If anyone has any pictures of how to use the one that came with the Pulse 9070XT I'd love to know how it works because I just can't figure it out.
