Ah the incorrigibly fractious Von Trier!!
As of yet I have not seen AntiChrist but will, if only to sway (or reinforce) the bitter taste in my mouth from my tainted and somewhat limited experience of his work.
Having only watched 'The Idiots' and also reading his 'Dogme 95' manifesto, (not through choice I hasten to add) I can only liken him somewhat to a petulant child so hellbent on a nonconformist and militant approach to his texts, that the final result simply smacked of arrogance and dare I say it amateurish.
However, there is a part of me that is hoping that AntiChrist is not just another 90 or so minutes of Von Trier sticking 2 fingers up to westernised commercial cinema and will be on par with the brilliant Martyrs.
