any 5.1 sound systems out there that are wireless?

Hey guys,

anyone know of any 5/6/7/8 and 9 channel surround sound systems that feature dolby digital. But which all speakers operate wirelessly? this way i won't need cables

No.

All are mains powered, so need cables anyway, and of poor quality.

What he said really, what you will fin will tend to be wired fronts and wireless rears which each need to be plugged into the mains so not completely wireless. All the kit I've seen has been at the low end of the market, I've not heard any of them but wouldn't expect them to be amazing, but definately girlfriend friendly which I assume is the issue?

Sadly I've never heard a single system with wireless speakers that sounds good
