any abit aw9dmax owners

want i want to know is if i buy some pc8500 ddr2 memory runing at 1066mhz

is there an option to set the memory to 1066 running 1:1 or is the max 800mhz and the 1066 is only achievable by overclocking the fsb on the motherboard ?


incase you wondering i have the board is in post and i just need to get some memory to start building when it arrives.

e6700 will be installed on it.

from what I understand the chance of you hitting 533fsb on a 975 at the moment is next to nil.
Abit are supposed to be investigating the 1333 strap though which might help.
