Two weeks ago it was seen by Aimhigher and one of the things they came out with was 'Check out logo branding on the internet'.
This was another lesson learnt because I had the Aimhigher logo top right and the NHS logo in the top middle.
Looking at branding I found that the Aimhigher logo can only go bottom left 12mm in and 12mm up and has to be 42mm long
The NHS logo has to go top right 10mm in and 10mm down but no mention of size on an A4 page.
There is a massive PDF dedicated to how the NHS logo can be used on cranes, fences, walls, hats and everything else.
We could have been fined if I'd sent them out how I originally designed them.

Always been a dream of mine to write a novel, it's just the actual writing bit that is a problem. My erratic and all-over-the-place narrative style would play hell on potential readers. Personally I feel I have enough of a vocabulary to do this, but making it read comfortable without coming across as having swallowed a Thesaurus is an immense challenge.

I am able to write any story to completion .. and then throw it away because it's so pale in comparison with authors like Bryson, Brown, King and Grisham.

My utmost respect to people that can do this. Really.

I'm looking for an agent at the moment: trying to get my poetry published.

So far I'm finishing off a blog with my work on it, and will be keeping my eyes open for an agent or pointers towards one.

I'm in a similar position. I love the idea of creating something and writing is the only thing that I've ever considered myself to be good at (this might not be evident from the quality of my posts ). Getting started is the hard part for me.
