Any benchmark sites for old cpu's Vs New ?

I have noticed my pc is fairly slow at some tasks, but it still does those tasks.
So are you saying i shouldnt upgrade until my pc wont do the tasks i perform ?
If this was the case i would still have my pentium 166 which im sure would still burn cd's!
I asked the question because i wondered how much faster the new cpu's are.
With mine being a 2.20 GHZ XP3200 and the CPU i was thinking of buying being 3 GHZ it didnt seem much of an improvement.
But the links provided have shown me that a new processor would perform various tasks quicker than my XP3200.
