Any benefits for RAID 0?

Hi,

I have an 7200rpm 80gb SATA drive and wondering if I'd see much of a perf. increase by adding another and configuring it in RAID 0 (my motherboard has RAID built in).

Or would a single 10000rpm drive be quicker?

Thanks

You would see a noticable increase but don't forget the drawbacks of RAID0 in the insecurity of the data due to the fact that if one drive fails, you lose the whole array of data.
