Any body know any interesting facts about these footballers ?

Somebody once told me Jean-Alain Boumsong was really clever and well read. Never saw any evidence of it.

I seem to remember Lorenzo Amoruso releasing a cook book whilst he was at Blackburn.

How it helps you, I'm not sure.

I'd disagree that he was a failed footballer. He was playing in the Premiership and playing for his country. He voluntarily decided to give football up to do something completely different at the age of 25. By the sound of it, he's been very successful in his new career.

I know nothing about him but looking at the Wiki link you posted he played a handful of games for Spurs, went to Watford and lost his place and then went to Everton where he played one game and conceded 4.

Hardly set the world alight did he?

Cheers for the help so far guys. It does have to be those players I'm afraid. I have been restricted to them. Its proving more difficult than one would imagine but I partly blame the fact that they are just boring and don't have any interests. Even tried calling some papers etc, no avail.

And no, I don't speak portuguese :p:)

He played in the Premier League and for his country before switching to a career in finance at the age of 25.

Brazilian legend Sócrates is another interesting character. He holds both a PhD and a medical doctorate.

When you look at Socrates footballing stats it makes interesting reading.

During his 16 year club career he only made 157 appearances. Yet acclaimed by many in the game that he was one of the best midfielders of his generation

What's with the randoms?

Okaka was born in Italy, but didn't get citizenship till 2007 - if thats helpful? Doesn't speak English either (well, didn't).
