Anyone able to help me out with this? Payment shall be made in any digital love form of your choosing xxx

Thanks <3

I'm about to leave work, so I just threw this together - Hope it's what you need?

Didn't know the radius of the dots, so I made them 5mm.

Maybe I’m having a dumb moment but it appears that where you have 350mm on the right hand side as half of the total 700mm (fine), you also have 275mm + 150mm within the same distance as the 350mm measurement, which obviously does not add up.

If it is supposed to be 150mm + 275mm to the mid point, then it won’t be 700mm total?

Also what is the 3D thickness?

The 275mm is superfluous so doesn't matter.

This is likely for some sheet material so thickness doesn't matter either.

Spot on, thank you :D

The dots don't matter, that's where light bulbs will go. I'm making a Hollywood style mirror for my wife for Christmas. The thickness doesn't matter either, this is the front plate which will have another plate at the back and a mirror / wiring sandwiched in between.

//I could start a business making these things, a decent one goes for £400+ and the raw materials are no more than £50.

Sketchup is half decent, free and easy to use for general modelling.

I tried a few today but didn't have enough time to dedicate to it. This has to be done fairly soon so I just knocked something up in Paint quick and asked for help on here. I'll learn one of these free programs very soon whether I like it or not as it's part of my degree. I always loved technical drawing at school so it shouldn't be *too* hard to pick up.

Then again. This is me, I'l probably ask for help on here on how to turn my PC on :p

Ahh good stuff :D No worries! :)

You could always get the mirror shot blasted from the rear creating circles or squares. Then create a rear box and house strips of led’s in. If you choose colour changing led’s you could then use and app or controller to change the light colour too!! The sandblasted mirror would naturally diffuse the led’s

Thanks for the tip, but she loves the ones with the physical bulbs sticking out. I bought a load today, just need fittings, I've have all the wiring and switchgear at work.

Haha no problems. I’ve worked on makeup units and displays before and it’s a way of getting the smoother surface finish as it can be a bit of a pain drilling glass mirror. Can’t beat retro at the moment though
