There is sock and stocking in the warehouse for sketchup. To change colour right click on the imported objects, explode, click your pant bucket from tools, select the colour sampler tool, select the red part of the sock, then change to edit in the paint toolbox adjust your colours. repeat for any other parts of the model.

One called Christmas sock which has a textured finish.
One called Christmas stocking with no texture finish.

But overall you would be better having a quick play in Rhino as you want a long sports sock, not a short boot shaped Christmas stocking to show off in class.

Sorry to triple post...but can someone please make me a 3d football sock as the project is due tomorrow and i completely forgot this bit and i dont have the time to learn how to use these programs...so if anyone could be kind enough and make me one then i would be so grateful.

Ok i have messed about in sketchup and i have a decent looking one...i wil check again in the morning and see if anyone has offered a alternative if not then oh well....thanks guys to the people did offer advice and help.

If you're only starting out with it, is a high standard really expected? Surely that sketchup one is good enough for what you could possibly need it for?
