Price of contracts for new phones have been ridiculous for 5+ years now.

If you look at the EE website, an iPhone 13 pro max on release with unlimited data, texts and calls came in at around £115 a month, even now almost a year later it’s still £89 a month, madness.

Mobilephonesdirect or appliancesdirect are the best places for 3rd party options, much better than going direct through the likes of EE or 3.

I do the same for friends and family that come to me asking for the best phone deals, I just point them to MobilePhonesDirect or Uswitch comparisons page.

Personally I've always stuck with EE the last 10 odd years though, because every other network around here are awful for one reason or another.

The last few years I've managed to get a better deal direct with EE though, as I can use the wife's NHS discount for 20% off EE contracts which is very useful Just about manages to be cheaper than 3rd parties this way as well.
